Winners of the World Press Photo Photojournalists Contest

The winners of the 59th annual photo contest World Press Photo were chosen from 5775 photographers who submitted 82,951 photographs from 128 countries to the judges.

As a result, the jury selected 41 photographers from 21 countries. The winners were identified in eight main categories among single photos and photo series. There are three winners in each category.
