Re: Migrants Question

Re: "The Question of Migrants"

I read with interest the letter of Mrs. Avgustova. And he immediately noted a positive moment for himself: the officials entered into a public discussion on the issue, the issue is not completely ignored. I also managed to get upset: what if this letter is not a personal initiative of the head of the regional FMS, but such a form of response from the regional authorities? I hope I'm wrong here.
In our address, the main problems that labor migrants bring to our land were highlighted. (“In our” - since the appeal was supported by people. In the future I will speak on my own behalf)
1. They deprive us of jobs.
2. They are willing to work for much less money than we do. And work. And it reduces our wage rate.
3. They take out the money they earned from our country.
4. Their work is worse quality.
5. Behind every legal migrant come a few illegal ones.
Just five points. These are the reasons I consider sufficient reason to reduce quotas. What did Ms. Avgustova answer to this? -Nothing.
She just repeated the argumentsin favormigration.Does FMS really exist to promote and encourage migration? Is the protection of the labor market in the interests of Russian citizens and the population of the regions really not part of its tasks? It is difficult to believe it, but from a letter such a conclusion suggests itself.
For some reason, a government official denies the ability of citizens of the Russian Federation to have an opinion on the policies of regional, local and federal authorities. Sadly I believe that a state person must, at a minimum, explain the position of state authorities on every issue. I cannot demand directly from the will of the people from Mrs. Avgustova, she is only an appointed official, not an independent politician.
By the way, for the same reason she cannot speak on the topic of who, when, how, why she has the right to speak on political issues. She signed the letter with her post, not just by name. Not her decision. Political issues about migrants, about the labor market, we are citizens, we will decide with the political authorities of the region. And her opinion will be heard only as the same opinion of a citizen, as well as my own.
On the issue of "non-specialists". This is not quantum mechanics. We see the quota growing every year.
2011 — 4500.
2012 — 5500.
2013 — 8000.
2014 — 10320.
You do not need to be a “specialist” to compare the size of quotas with the number of people employed in our area.
According to official data of the State Statistics Committee, available on, in the area of about 100 thousand economically active population. Quotas suggest that about 10% of them will be foreign labor.
Yes, I know that not all quota is officially chosen by amateur employers to pay less. Ms. Augustova speaks about 50% of the actual use of the quota. Let's say. Then next 2014, more than five thousand foreigners will settle here. And they are mostly men. In the market for male labor, they will occupy about 10%. These are only legal workers. We all know that there are illegal immigrants.
Where does this path lead? Will we all be replaced by cheap, unskilled labor?
Ms. Augustova does not give answers. However, I am not going to discuss with her the issues of quota approval for foreign workers. She has nothing to do with them as the head of the FMSD in the Magadan Region. Not the right person to talk to.
I turned to the administration of the region and the city, to the governor and to the mayor, to the legislative bodies of the region and the city. Solve the issue.Otherwise, our and your territory will become Turkic in a couple of years, otherwise we will have to leave because of the inability to compete on the labor market with cheap migrant workers, otherwise they will ask you for the new "Biryulyovo" when it will be here.
