The vessel, built in 1961 in Bulgaria, was formerly called “Ai-Petri” and was originally used as a ferry to transport passengers and goods between the ports of Odessa, Sevastopol, Yalta and Istanbul. Later, the six-deck ship was converted into a research one, but in fact, since 1970, it has been used in the Atlantic Ocean for informal surveillance of telecommunications in the UK and the USA.
For the third time, the ship underwent a major renovation in 2007, when the La Sultana Group, which bought it, turned the ship into an amazing superyacht called La Sultana.
Built in 1961 in Bulgaria, the ship was used to transport passengers across the Black Sea, until the Soviet Union turned it into a spy ship.La Sultana Group acquired it in 2007 and transformed it into an elegant oasis.
In total, the ship has seven cabins for 12 guests. All rooms have stunning windows, marble bathrooms and showers.
